Little Karoo | South Africa Adley House is located in Oudtshoorn, a popular destination on tours that visit the Garden Route and Little Karoo. This magnificently restored sandstone house is within walking distance of the town center in a tranquil, upmarket area. Adley is a Victorian house that Sidney Herbert Adley built during the ostrich feather "boom" of 1905.

The town overlooks the majestic Swartberg Mountains and played an important role in the Ostrich boom during the first part of the previous century. Oudtshoorn can be visited on a tour of the Garden Route.
Adley House offers 14 individually decorated en suite rooms. Each room has air-conditioning, an overhead fan, a television, a fully-stocked bar fridge, tea/coffee facilities, electric blankets and a telephone. A daily laundry service is available for guests' convenience.
The landscaped garden and swimming pool provide a very inviting setting on those hot summer days. Guests at this guest house are in for a treat at mealtimes. Breakfast will typically include an authentic South African specialty like 'vetkoek.' If the weather permits, evenings are characterized by a traditional outdoor braai. Alternatively, a four-course meal is served indoors.
