From: POAThe camp is built on the banks of the Luangwa River and marks the southern end of the Great Rift Valley, one of Africa's most prominent natural features. South Luangwa National Park is one of Africa's finest conservation areas. It supports abundant wildlife in a fine natural sanctuary. The camp is open from the beginning of April to the end of November.
The five bush suites are suitably spacious, enjoying luxuries such as sunken bathtubs and large personal verandas to enjoy the view. The decor is simple and handsome, defined by dark wooden accents and fresh whites. Meals are included on a full-board basis, ensuring you will never have to leave the wild comfort of the bush.
South Luangwa is a wildlife lover's paradise with around 40 mammal species and more than 400 recorded bird species. The safari activities include game drives twice daily and encountering wildlife on foot. These walking safaris are led by the camp's knowledgeable guides and armed scouts. Relax in the pool between your adventures and observe animals arriving at the riverbank to sate their thirst or indulge in a dip.
