Its location is ideal for exploring the town of Franschhoek and surrounding Winelands, where some of South Africa's finest wines are produced on historic estates established by the Frensch Hugeunotes, who first settled the valley in 1688. The town features many well-preserved historical buildings and is splendidly displayed against the Cape Fold Mountains. It is often called the Food and Wine Capital of South Africa. Award-winning restaurants offer delectable fare with international and local influences apparent in the dishes served.
Only two rooms are available to guests, ensuring a luxury personal experience. They are fitted with stylish decorations and amenities, including high-thread-count linen, minibars with a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and tea and coffee-making facilities.
