Protruding granite outcrops create alluring backdrops as the white stone contrasts the deep blue West Coast water. The well-known Cape Town interior designer David Strauss is responsible for the magnificent feel of the hotel. Modern furnishings have been blended with restored antiques, wooden ceilings, and traditional silverware.
The hotel offers ten exquisitely decorated suites. No effort was spared to make all the suites as comfortable as possible; features such as extra-length beds, deluxe pillows, mohair blankets, and cotton linen make sleeping at Abalone House a treat. All the rooms have en suite bathrooms with baths and showers, heated floors, and heated towel rails.
