Location & Setting

Leeu House lies tucked away in the historical Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek, about an hour's drive from Cape Town. The French Huguenots founded the town and brought their wine-making skills to the valley, which today is home to some of the finest award-winning wine estates in South Africa.

Rooms

Leeu House can cater for up to 24 guests in spacious bedrooms, each individually decorated. The rooms are en-suite with separate shower and bath. Other facilities in the rooms include the delight of flopping onto a bed with pure cotton bed linen. There are tea/coffee-making facilities, satellite television, and air conditioning. Bathrobes and hair dryers are some of the added personal touches guests can expect during their stay.

Fine dining is available in The Observatory. There is a wine boutique and some wonderful art pieces to admire. An on-site spa offers a variety of treatments to replenish body and soul. The fireplace in the lounge is a favorite gathering place on cold, rainy days, and the swimming pool in a garden setting is ideal for cooling off on hot summer days.
