What influences prices?Guests will be met and welcomed on arrival at O R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and assisted with a transfer to a flight bound for Victoria Falls, the true starting point of the journey, where you are met and taken to your lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River. Here guests enjoy luxury that reminds one of a bygone era in a very tranquil setting. At this beautiful and secluded lodge, guests get in touch with the wilderness of Africa on game drives, nature trails, boat cruises, island walks, and visits to Victoria Falls, one of the greatest natural spectacles in Africa.
The luxury air-conditioned tented suites walk out onto wooden decks with private plunge pools, offering stunning views of the mighty river. They are situated far apart, ensuring absolute privacy. The lodge is in the 56,000-hectare (Over 138,000 acres) Zambezi National Park, where you can see lions, leopard buffalo, elephants, and various forms of bird life may be seen (and heard) as they go about their daily lives.
Guests spend three nights at Victoria Falls River Lodge on a full-board basis, with two activities included daily.
The honeymooners enjoy breakfast served outside on the veranda, after which they are transferred to Chobe National Park in Botswana. The luxurious Chobe Chilwero is your destination. The lodge is known for its remarkable views over the river floodplain, warm African accents, and sumptuous details, making it the ideal honeymoon destination in Chobe.
Two game activities are included daily. Sarari activities alternate between cruising on the Chobe River among bathing elephants and hippos and exploring the park's wild nooks and crannies in a 4x4 vehicle. Romantic high tea is served on the lawns, and delectable meals are lovingly prepared by the lodge's expert culinary staff, an eclectic fusion of Western and African cuisine and delicacies.
Guests spend three nights at Chobe Chilwero on a full-board basis.
Following a last breakfast in Chobe, the honeymoon couple will fly to the Okavango Delta from the airport in Kasane. The Okavango Delta is an oasis created by the waters of the Okavango River emptying over the sands of the Kalahari, creating a world of palm-dotted islands and crystal-clear channels. At peak flood, it covers an area of 15,000 square kilometers (5800 square miles), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the world's most remarkable wildernesses.
At Kanana, you will enjoy an authentic safari in a camp with only eight tented suites. Game viewing at Kanana involves meeting the wondrous creatures and colorful birds that reside in the channels via a mokoro canoe, motorized boat, or on game drives conducted by the expert local team. The camp also offers a sleep-out deck where guests can overnight under the star-studded sky.
Guests spend three nights at Kanana Camp. All meals and safari activities are included.
A last morning game activity is followed by breakfast, after which guests board a light charter to Maun and, from there, an onward flight to Johannesburg.
