Reflecting on the magnificent landscape in which Kulala lies, you will be left with everlasting impressions of Namib's vastness, solitude, and tranquility. Sossusvlei is an enormous clay pan flanked by dunes standing starkly against the blue sky. These dunes have developed over millions of years and are continuously transformed by the wind. The 'vlei' or pan only fills after rare heavy rainfalls, transforming it into a spectacular turquoise lake. When looking up at the night sky, it is so bright it almost seems possible to pick a star from the sky.
Activities include a guided morning nature drive to the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei and a short guided nature walks into the desert. Alternatively, guests may take an optional balloon safari over the enchanting desert. Nature walks, and horseback riding also brings visitors closer to the unique beauty of the desert.

Game drives are conducted daily on both the Ongava Reserve and inside Etosha National Park. The area is home to four of the Big 5, with only Cape Buffalo not occurring there. It is one of the best places in Africa for spotting black and white rhinos, and you will have the opportunity to track white rhinos on nature walks at Ongava. The waterholes in Etosha are a photographer's dream, and many species can often be captured in the same photo.
