Highlights & What to Expect

Morning and afternoon game drives last approximately three hours. These safaris include a morning coffee stop and an afternoon stop for sundowners.
Resident rangers and trackers lead nature Walks.
There are various activities for children, such as a playground, petting zoo, and mini golf course. Children six and older are welcome.
Additional activities include birdwatching and fishing.
The lodge features a luxury spa with a variety of treatments.

Location & Setting

Long Lee Manor overlooks the plains of Shamwari and redefines elegance in the wild. It is one of the most luxurious lodges in the Shamwari Private Game Reserve, a drive of forty-five minutes from Port Elizabeth in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province.

Rooms

The lodge offers one family suite, two manor house suites, eleven plain rooms, and four garden rooms with inter-leading verandas. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a minibar, a king-sized bed, a private balcony, and an ensuite bathroom. The Family suite has two king-sized beds, a private terrace, and an attached bathroom.

Facilities

Long Lee Manor has recently been redesigned and refurbished and includes the original manor house built in 1910, which has been lovingly restored to reflect the region's rich heritage. It has all the facilities expected of a luxury lodge. There is also a fully equipped gym and a high-end spa. The lodge is set in well-groomed gardens and has a guest boutique.
