The outpost is built along a ridge with splendid views of the Luhuvu River and the seemingly endless savannah. The best way to reach the lodge is via a charter flight from Grand Central Airport in Johannesburg to the Pafuri airstrip.
Twelve stand-alone units connected by a half-kilometer-long Zimbabwean teak walkway accommodate guests. The main lodge is spacious, with unobstructed views. Go swimming in the lap pool, explore the library, or even picnic at the riverside. Fine cuisine is served in the main dining area, the enclosed courtyard, or next to the pool. A long or short game drive can be undertaken in the mornings or afternoons, while bush walks occur in areas inaccessible to vehicles, such as Lanner Gorge.
