Clients are met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport in Cape Town by a representative of African Sky Safaris & Tours, who will present them with their Southern Route Self-Drive Tour itinerary, a map book of South Africa and a GPS. At this time, clients are also presented with accommodation and other relevant vouchers which they will require on their self-drive tour. Clients are then assisted in obtaining their rental vehicle before making their way to their overnight destination.

The Southern Route Self-Drive Tour enjoys three nights in Cape Town, two nights in the Cape Winelands and four nights in the Garden Route, with fine personal accommodation throughout. South Africa's 'Mother City', the first destination on your self-drive tour of the Western Cape, abounds with opportunities for adventure. Opt to take the world-famous cable car to the top of Table Mountain for splendid views of the city and beyond, or depart from the V&A Waterfront for Robben Island for a historic tour of the infamous prison.

You'll be steps away from the main street, with its wealth of award-winning restaurants. Opt to hop aboard the Wine Tram and trundle through the Winelands at your leisure, enjoying tastings at fine estates along the way.

Once you depart the Cape for the Garden Route, you'll observe the world around you transform into a coastal Eden.
