From: POAThe camp is on the edge of the vast Makgadikgadi Pans in northern Botswana. It is accessible from Maun via a light charter flight to a private airstrip near town. It is set beneath towering palm trees with views across an almost lunar-like landscape that is, in a sense, almost otherworldly - luxury in a harsh and unforgiving land
Accommodation on a safari at Jack's Camp is provided in nine stylish tents, each with an en suite bathroom. The tents are decorated with Persian carpets, each with indoor and outdoor showers and a private plunge pool. Cotton sheets adorn the beds.
Central areas have a Beduan style and feature a spacious dining and lounge area and a swimming pool, arguably the most remote pool to visit on a safari in Botswana. San bushmen guide guests to the fringes of the pan, where the antics of a group of local meerkats are sure to provide an exciting wildlife experience. The pans attract flamingos during the wet season, a spectacle that will surely be remembered by all who visit the camp at this time of year.
