A short flight from Johannesburg provides panoramic views of South Africa’s most important conservation area - the Greater Kruger National Park - before touching down on a gravel strip in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve . This most famous of South Africa’s private reserves is especially notable for the quality and frequency of leopard sightings enjoyed by visitors. The late afternoon is devoted to your first exclusive safari in the company of an experienced ranger and tracker.
This day of your top-end Sabi Sand safari will begin shortly after sunrise, with coffee and snacks, before heading into the wilderness on the back of an open 4x4 vehicle. The morning game drive of about three hours returns to camp for a late breakfast. Guests are then afforded some time for relaxation before enjoying lunch and subsequently a late afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five and the many antelope species that grace the wilderness in this part of South Africa.
