Location & Setting

Phinda Vlei Lodge is in the northeastern part of South Africa's KwaZulu Natal Province. It is on the edge of the Phinda's rare sand forest and overlooks a unique wetland. The reserve is one of the most ecologically diverse in South Africa and is easily accessible on daily scheduled flights departing from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Rooms.

Guests are accommodated in six luxury air-conditioned suites with private plunge pools, minibars, and bathrooms featuring indoor and outdoor showers. Every suite provides stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape that can be enjoyed from a private viewing deck. Interiors are decorated with antiques and collectibles.

Relax and socialize in the beautiful central areas, including a lounge, dining areas, and a library. A viewing deck is ideal for unwinding with a book while occasionally gazing at animals wandering across the meadow. There is a fire pit where drinks can be enjoyed around a crackling fire.
