Location & Setting

Phinda Private Game Reserve is nestled between Mkuze Game Reserve and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park; Mountain Lodge is set on top of a hill, with views of the stunning Lebombo foothills. Forests, grassy plains, and savannahs surround Mountain Lodge. Daily scheduled flights connect the reserve directly to Johannesburg.

Rooms

Phinda Mountain Lodge has three different room types. Sixteen suites can accommodate up to two guests, six family cottages, and one family suite. All rooms include indoor and outdoor showers and a private plunge pool. Family cottages can accommodate a family of up to five. The family suite can accommodate up to four adults and four children.

Facilities

There are lounge and dining areas, a fully stocked bar, and an interactive kitchen where children can experiment and have fun. Other facilities include a wellness center with a gym and a massage sala. There is an under-the-stars dining area, lit by dozens of candles and lanterns, a large rim-flow sparkling pool, a safari shop, and a pair of complimentary state-of-the-art Swarovski telescopes for stargazing.
