Guests are met upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International by an African Sky guide and transferred to Castello di Monte, their Tuscan style luxury accommodation, set on a hill overlooking the city of Pretoria. After some time for freshening up, we head to the nearby Silver Lakes Golf Course for the first round of golf in South Africa. Peppered with palm trees and beautifully kept man-made lakes, the course was designed by Peter Matkovich and offers a gratifying game in splendid natural surroundings. Upon completion of the round of golf, guests are transferred back to their overnight accommodation.
After breakfast guests are transferred to Woodhill Golf Course for a morning round. The course runs across 6 758m and combines its Parklands-style with indigenous bushveld. The fairways are dressed in vibrant Kikuyu while veld grasses encumber the roughs. Placid water pools and rock features frame the course’s unique, tranquil setting. Its varied levels of elevation accord intensely absorbing play and spectacular views of the surrounding area. The Woodhill Country Club remains one of the most popular golf retreats in the city and provides engrossing play for both the beginner and the pro golfer. Following the round, guests are transferred to their overnight accommodation where the late afternoon is spent relaxing.
Today we leave the city of Pretoria behind and head northwest toward the Big Five-bearing bushveld of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, where guests will enjoy a game drive in this striking wilderness area. Pilanesberg is located inside the crater of an ancient volcano which erupted millions of years ago. Once the magma solidified, the area formed rather eye-catching rolling hills. After the game drive, the tour continues on to the Sun City Resort , where guests will be checked in to their overnight accommodations and may then explore the sprawling resort at their leisure.

The more leisurely inclined may opt for a pampering spa treatment or simply relax poolside.
After breakfast, your golf tour heads over to the Lost City Golf Course, named for the imposing Palace of the Lost City which forms its handsome backdrop. The Lost City Golf Course boasts 28 000 square meters of water features and a small host of Nile crocodiles. The desert-style course offers a very unique South African golf experience. After some time allotted for lunch, guests are returned to O.R. Tambo International or dropped off at a location of their choice in Johannesburg or Pretoria following a truly memorable golf tour in South Africa.
