Once you’ve arrived in Johannesburg and have cleared customs and immigration, you’ll find a representative from African Sky waiting for you as you enter the arrivals hall. First, we’ll take care of a few formalities. At the same time, you’ll be handed a complete tour folder containing all necessary documentation for your upcoming seaside holiday, including e-tickets, accommodation and transfer vouchers, and our emergency contact details. Once formalities are completed, you’ll be escorted to the appropriate departure terminal where you’ll be assisted in boarding a regional flight to Maputo in Mozambique . There you’ll be met by the White Pearl Resorts team, who’ll assist in transferring you the last stretch to the lodge. You’ll arrive in Ponta Mamoli around lunchtime and will be assisted with check-in.

During your stay, you’ll enjoy luxurious accommodations and three mouth-watering meals daily, as well as various activities included in your stay.

Included in your stay is an ocean safari, as well as beach snorkeling, horse riding, a ‘See the Turtles’ activity, a beach picnic, or a visit and tour of a nearby cultural village. Or you might just relax and do absolutely nothing but be pampered!
White Pearl’s ocean safari takes guests out to a nearby reef, where interactions with friendly bottlenose dolphins are possible. From July to November, humpback whale watching is also on the agenda, as the whales migrate along the east African coastline. Closer to the end of the season, you might be lucky enough to encounter their newborns as they play and learn to breach. At an additional cost, White Pearl offers scuba diving at one of the world’s top pinnacle reefs. PADI courses are offered and diving gear may be hired from the Dive Center. For the less adventurous, spa treatments – also at an additional cost - are certainly a more relaxing alternative. The adjacent coastline is home to one of the richest turtle nesting sites in Southern Mozambique. From November to February, Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles head to this stretch of coast to lay their eggs.
In partnership with the Southern Mozambique Marine Turtle Nesting Monitoring, Tagging and Conservation Programme, White Pearl helps to monitor and protect these amazing creatures.
After a relaxing morning, you’ll be returned to the airport at Maputo. From there, you’ll fly return to Johannesburg, bringing to an end a relaxing Southern African beach holiday .
