From: POAAvondrood Guest House forms part of the unique history of Franschhoek, as the original Victorian building that now forms the guest house dates back to 1870 and is also a heritage site. The area has a rich history that dates back to the seventeenth century and breathtaking natural scenery; it is no surprise that Franschhoek has become a tourism hotspot.
There are eight spacious rooms to choose from. The rooms are divided into one Standard Deluxe Room, three Superior Rooms, three Superior Deluxe Rooms, and one Family Deluxe Suite. All the rooms have extended king-size beds, air-conditioning, a minibar, a coffee and tea station, an LCD television, an iPod docking station, a DVD/CD player, and en suite bathrooms. All the rooms - except the Standard Deluxe – boast Victorian-style bathtubs. There are also extra twin beds in the Family Deluxe Suite, and two of the Superior Deluxe Rooms have fireplaces.
Avondrood serves an exceptional hot and cold breakfast every morning. Additionally, there are many restaurants and wine farms where lunch and dinner can be enjoyed.
