Location & Setting

Reilly's Rock is located in the Ezulwini Valley in Swaziland, one of the smallest Kingdoms in Africa and the world. The country is landlocked between South Africa and Mozambique. The Swazi people are colorful and friendly, with a unique history and culture. Reily's Rock is four and a half hours from Johannesburg. It is an ideal stopover when traveling from the Kruger National Park to Zululand in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Rooms

The guest house offers comfortable accommodations with sweeping views of the surrounding hills. Each of the six suites has a distinct character. These charming rooms have been awarded AA Highly Recommended Status. The main building is over one hundred years old. It was built by Mickey Reilly, one of the first settlers in the area.

Facilities

There are tastefully decorated central areas, including a dining and lounge area. Several small antelope species rarely seen elsewhere are often seen in the gardens of Reilly's Rock. These include the blue duiker as well as the stately little Klipspringer. Bush babies visit the property at night and can even be fed at the established feeding station. The gardens are a lovely place to relax and enjoy a stroll after a day of activity.
