Walkersons

Walkersons Hotel is found a few miles from the quaint highland village of Dullstroom. The town lies in the rolling hills of South Africa's Mpumalanga Province. The area is endowed with valleys scattered with small dams and watercourses. It is the ideal destination to enjoy a few days of country pursuits and relaxation between Johannesburg and the Kruger National Park.

The hotel has 27 suites. Each room has either a lake or mountain view. The rooms have private patios and fireplaces and full en suite bathrooms. Guests can choose between the Honeymoon Suite, Lakeside Suites, Luxury Lakeside Suites, or the large Family Suite comprising two Lakeside Suites with a shared lounge area and an upstairs loft with single beds for children. The Manor Suite is a two-bedroom unit.

Mealtimes are a taste explosion. Enjoy a delicious English breakfast on the sunny patio overlooking the dam or a well-prepared dinner in the cozy dining room. The hotel's chef will gladly pack a picnic lunch at any idyllic spot on the estate. A bottle of wine is included to toast the lovely scenery and your holiday. On the estate are several trout dams connected to mountain streams. These dams offer fantastic fly-fishing spots. On a hot day, guests can laze around the pool while enjoying the sounds of nature. The hotel has a gym, spa facilities, and hiking and horse trails.
