Most lodges overlook the seasonal Sand River, one of the two primary watercourses running through the area. A few are located in the heart of the reserve, and the lodges at Lion Sands lie on the banks of the Sabie River. You can choose between comfortable four-star, luxury five-star, and some of the world's finest and most intimate accommodation establishments. The southern camps in the reserve are easily accessible from Skukuza Airport.
