Location & Setting

Camp Okavango is an African safari camp in the permanent Delta. It is built on Nxaragha Island, surrounded by lagoons, reed-lined channels with crystal-clear waters, and islands where many animals can be spotted on walking safaris. It is important to note that the safari activities conducted at camp include only water-based and walking safaris.

Rooms

Twenty-four guests can be accommodated in twelve East African-style safari tents. Each tent is stylishly decorated and features en suite facilities. The tents are raised from the ground, with pathways connecting the units to the main lodge. The rooms all face the untouched wilderness, with private decks for relaxation.

Facilities

A well-stocked bar under a giant Mangosteen tree offers a gathering place where guests and guides share stories of their wildlife encounters. Guests may also swim in the pool or visit the secluded bird hide. Take an afternoon nap in a hammock in the shade of an ancient tree or gaze across the wilderness of Botswana from an elevated observation platform. Central areas are spacious, including a lounge, dining area, and viewing deck.
