With more than 450 species of birds in the area, Linyanti Ebony is a bird lover's paradise. Every birdwatching moment will be a visual feast, from kingfishers' vivid colors to raptors' majestic presence.
Join a boat tour along the Linyanti River to witness wildlife congregating along the riverbanks. You will see hippos wallowing, elephants bathing, and antelope species quenching their thirst.

Location & Setting

Linyanti Ebony is in northern Botswana, in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. The reserve spans 125,000 hectares and is adjacent to Chobe National Park. The camp overlooks the floodplain of the Linyanti River, which teems with wildlife and attracts large herds of buffalo and elephants during the dry season.

Rooms

Only four suites are available at Linyanti Ebony, one of which is a two-bedroom family unit. The camp is tented on wooden decks with thatch roofs to protect against the elements. Tents are air-cooled, each with an en-suite bathroom and spacious, well-appointed room. Each tent has a private viewing deck that overlooks the surrounding wilderness.

Facilities

The main areas consist of a large lounge, dining area, and viewing deck that leads to a fire circle, where meals are sometimes enjoyed under the star-studded southern sky. The camp features a plunge pool where guests can relax and enjoy the sunshine. Guests can unwind at the fully stocked bar with various premium beverages while exchanging tales of their wildlife encounters.
