Location & Setting

The lodge lies between rounded boulders in the far southwestern part of Namibia. Canyon Lodge is in Gondwana Canyon Park, a one-hundred-and-twenty-five thousand-hectare private reserve. The park is home to giraffes, kudu, mountain zebra, springbok, gemsbok, and ostriches. On occasion, leopards can also be spotted here. The landscape is harsh but breathtaking.

Rooms

Thirty chalets are constructed of natural stone and thatch set amongst the huge granite boulders in the area. These bungalows blend well with the surroundings, creating an eco-friendly atmosphere. All units are en suite and are fitted with air-conditioning and mosquito nets.

Facilities

The main area at this lodge is typical of an African farmhouse design. It houses both a bar and a restaurant with seemingly endless views over the canyon landscape, a fact that is sure to make dining here a memorable experience. The swimming pool is an oasis on hot summer days.
