Location & Setting

The lodge is at the foot of a hill within the &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Reserve. An ocean of red dunes, gravel plains, and rocky outcrops dominates the surrounding terrain. The lodge is four hundred kilometers from Windhoek and slightly less from Swakopmund. It is easily accessible by light charter flights to a private local airstrip.

Rooms

Accommodation is provided in ten spacious stone and glass desert villas with incredible views of plain and red dunes in the distance. The lodge also has a two-bedroomed star dune suite, ideal for families. Experience the glorious starlit sky in the comfort of your bed by gazing through the star-viewing skylight. Each glass-encased en suite bathroom has an indoor and outdoor shower. The units also have private verandas and a split-level lounge area with a fireplace.

Facilities

With the same stone and glass theme as the villas, the main lodge area is split into two levels. It offers quiet hideaways, viewing decks, a bar, and a dining room with a well-stocked wine cellar. The lounge area leads onto a veranda and a library equipped with books and CDs that provide interesting information about the area. An observatory is provided, where guests can spend hours exploring the night sky. A pool and safari shop are also situated in the main complex.
