Location & Setting

The lodge offers a unique South Africa safari experience within driving distance from Cape Town - roughly three and a half hours. It is close to the town of Clanwilliam in the rugged Cederberg Mountains, a picturesque region on South Africa's west coast. The lodge is set in lush gardens and offers a sense of tranquility and serenity.

At the main lodge, guests are accommodated in fourteen well-appointed rooms, two suites, and two villas decorated with magnificent art pieces. Koro Lodge, a beautifully renovated farmhouse, offers families of up to ten an excellent private base from which to enjoy the treasures of the Bushmans Kloof Reserve.

Facilities

When it comes to dining options, you will be spoiled for choice. The Homestead is the most formal of the dining venues on the reserve. The less formal dining options include Makana, an open-air restaurant, dining under the stars at Embers, the Manor House Deck that offers al fresco dining, or Kadoro - a secluded venue. Activities include guided rock art excursions, botanical tours, game viewing, birdwatching, nature trails and canoeing, and the opportunity to dip in the crystal clear mountain pools.
