Grootbos Forest Lodge is set in a remote corner of the private reserve with which it shares a name. It provides easy access to Gansbaai, famous for its spine-chilling shark cage diving adventures, and Hermanus, internationally renowned as one of the world's finest whale-watching destinations. From the lodge, sweeping views can be enjoyed over the dense forest canopy and the blue waters of the Indian Ocean in the distance.
Guests are accommodated in sixteen luxurious, spacious, elegantly appointed suites designed for privacy, comfort, and natural immersion. Suites offer spectacular views across Walker Bay, one of the most beautiful parts of the South African coastline.
