The lodge is in the Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in the coastal Overberg near Gansbaai. It is built on a hilltop and offers panoramic views of rolling hills and the vast expanse of the ocean. The reserve is a sanctuary for nature lovers and includes many endemic plant species, including fynbos. During your stay, you will encounter many species of wildlife and will have the opportunity to spot whales from June to November. Shark Cage diving is one of the activities that can be enjoyed nearby.
