Under the direction of skilled and knowledgeable guides, guests experience exhilarating game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles.
The reserve is home to various animals, such as giraffes, zebras, and the Big Five (lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, leopards, and buffaloes).
Guided walking safaris are conducted daily for a more personal and immersive safari experience. During these safaris, you can learn about the region's flora and fauna and get close to some of the smaller animals in the reserve.
With more than 300 species of birds in the area, Pungwe Camp is a bird watcher's paradise.
Unwind and relax with sundowner drinks as the sun sets over the African bushveld.
Pungwe Camp is ideal for stargazing due to its remote setting and lack of light pollution.

Location & Setting

The lodge offers guests unrivaled access to the Big Five and other distinctive African wildlife. It is situated on the edge of the renowned Kruger National Park in the exclusive Manyeleti Game Reserve. Traditional building materials like thatch and natural stone in the camp's construction create a charming and genuine African atmosphere.

Rooms

Each of the four tented suites is exquisitely constructed to create a seamless fusion of contemporary conveniences and traditional African furnishings. Suites feature king-sized with high-quality linen. Private bathrooms are outfitted with a bathtub, a refreshing outdoor shower, and all the amenities guests could need. Relax in a personal lounge area, which features cozy furniture, a writing desk, and a fully stocked minibar with refreshments nearby. Step outside onto a personal deck to take in the breathtaking views of the African bush.

Guests can cool off in the sparkling pool. A fully equipped gym is provided for those who want to stay active. Various regional and international cuisines are served in the dining room or outside in the open-air boma beneath the stars.
