Location & Setting

Tintswalo blends into the bush in Manyeleti Game Reserve, a 24,000-hectare private reserve bordered by the Sabi Sand, Timbavati, and Kruger National Park. The lodge, set amongst trees, blends into the bush and overlooks a waterhole frequented by animals. It is easily accessible from the airport near Hoedspruit with a transfer of just under an hour.

Rooms

The lodge's eight king suites are staggered along a seasonal river; each is decorated individually in honor of the 19th-century explorer, after which they are named. Each air-conditioned suite has a lavish bathroom and a viewing deck with a private plunge pool.

Facilities

The main lodge is situated under an ancient sycamore tree grove. It is exclusively appointed with a large lounge, dining area, bar, wine cellar, and fireplace. Indoor areas walk onto an outside deck next to which a swimming pool and boma can be found. The lodge offers a spa and a small library.
