Kapama Southern Camp

Southern Camp has a stunning bushveld setting in the Kapama Private Game Reserve. Two rivers flow through the reserve, the Kapama and the Klaserie. These rivers are the primary water sources for abundant wildlife and species of birds that inhabit this stunning slice of Africa. The camp is easily accessible from the airport near Hoedspruit.

This lodge has fifteen suites, seven luxury suites, and three family suites. All the suites have air-conditioning, tea and coffee stations, minibars, and en suite bathrooms. The larger luxury suites have a private pool, an outside shower, a larger mini bar, an espresso machine, and a fireplace. Every unit has a private patio to relax on between game drives.

Kick back with a book in the lounge or pool deck, or order a cocktail at the well-stocked bar. The large outdoor pool with an infinity edge pool is an excellent escape on balmy days. Natural scenes surround the open-sided dining room, where breakfast and dinner are served. If the weather permits, dinner is enjoyed outside at the boma. No dinner venue can replace the great outdoors. The refined cuisine tastes even better, with fires providing light and wildlife providing the soundtrack.
